Kwanlin Dün government, staff, and citizens are championing lateral violence awareness and facing it head on. In 2016, the V2K (Violence to Kindness) Warriors developed a youth lateral violence workshop. They facilitated 3 workshops for various youth audiences in the Yukon.
The group consisted of Kuduat Shorty-Heynu, Marlon “Riel” Scarf, Isabel Walker, Jordan Vallevand, Aurora Hardy and Teagyn Vallevand. The support staff included Marilyn Jensen, Thomas Shepherd, Gyde Shepherd, Caroline Sturko, and Les Walker.
