Kwanlin Dün First Nation asks members of the public to support KDFN citizens’ traditional use of the area surrounding the Fish Lake ridge as a fall hunting space by giving the hunters a wide berth. KDFN’s Land Stewards say that by limiting visits to the area’s popular hiking trails to between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m., travelling in high-visibility clothing and keeping dogs leashed, people can minimize risks associated with the harvest.

To learn more about the boundaries of Kwanlin Dün’s Category A land near Fish Lake, or any other settlement land, people are encouraged to access the Yukon Government’s online lands viewer or call Kwanlin Dün First Nation at (867) 633-7800.
