Kate Carmack will be inducted into the Canadian Mining Hall of Fame January 10, 2019 in Toronto, taking her rightful place along side Skookum Jim, Dawson Charlie, Robert Henderson and George Carmack.
The Kwanlin Dün First Nation Youth Advisory Committee and the Youth of Today Society approached the chamber to tell Carmack’s story and recognize her legacy.
