Class 3 Driver Training for KDFN Citizens
We’re looking for energetic individuals to complete a Class 3 driver training course this fall. The goal is to employ drivers after training. Limited space is available.
Course Requirements:
To take this training you must:
- be a KDFN Citizen;
- have a Class 5 licence; and
- be willing and able to work in the construction industry.
Canyon City Construction is seeking the following services:
- Class 1 Truck Drivers
- Class 3 Truck Drivers
- Expediter
- Heavy duty mechanic
Gravel Discount for KDFN Citizens
We’re offering a $50 discount per load (12 yards per load) on our processed gravel for up to four loads a year.
Delivery charges apply and a cash payment is required upon delivery.
Community painted salmon project
In the spring, Canyon City Construction and KDFN’s Justice team partnered on a project to give out wooden fish for KDFN community members to paint.
If you sill have a fish, we need it back, so we can finish installing them at the Petro-Canada Gas Station! Please drop off your fish at the new Kashgêk’ Building (Community Hub).
If you need a fish or are not able to drop yours off, contact KDFN Youth Outreach and Wellness Coordinator Katelyn Dawson at 867-332-6446.
Everyone who completes and drops off a fish will be entered into a draw for a gift card!
