Kwänlin Dän gha eech’e – Honouring Identity, Celebrating Self
A program that brings KDFN families together with Elders, traditional knowledge keepers, researchers, language learners and educators to learn about their family lineage, culture and language.
Monday, March 13 – Friday, March 17, 2023 (8 families, up to 2 people per family)
The program runs 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. each day at Kenädän Kų House of Learning and other places in Whitehorse.
Today, Kwanlin Dün includes people of many different backgrounds. This program aims to help families navigate that diversity.
This is a pilot project that integrates identity, language and culture with essential skills—research, analysis, reading, writing—in a safe and inclusive space.
