On Wednesday, May 31, 2023, KDFN joined in the McIntyre Creek Community Clean Up hosted by the Yukon Fish and Wildlife Management Board.

Volunteers helped pull garbage and old tires from the water. KDFN Land Steward Officer Bruce Wilson estimates there were between 50 and 100 tires.

The tires were placed above the water line where they await a helicopter lift out of the creek.
