Since Sunday August, 6, KDFN leadership and staff worked to provide emergency services for Mayo wildfire evacuees. They then stepped up to assist Old Crow as they were evacuated.

As of August 13, Mayo evacuees are heading home. KDFN has made the decision to close Nàkwät’à Kų̀ Potlatch House as it isn’t being used as much. Although the potlach house is closed, support services are still available.

Shä̀w níthän, másin cho, gunałchÎsh, and thank you to everyone who helped over the last few days. We hold our hands up to all who’ve supported and continue to support Mayo and Old Crow during their time of need.
