There will be a sacred fire at the Kwanlin Dün Cultural Centre starting today at 12:30 p.m. and continuing until Friday at noon. The sacred fire will burn throughout the night. There will also be a community fire at Nàkwät’à Kų̀ Potlatch House from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. and again at the same time tomorrow, September 27.
This is to acknowledge the findings related to the former Chooutla Residential School grounds.
Counsellors will be on site. Food will be available.
