Whitehorse RCMP are asking for help from the public to find Isaiah Jakesta.

Anyone who can help with search efforts can go to the Kwanlin Koyotes ski hut, next to Nats’ekhi Kų̀ Health Centre. Once there, please check in with RCMP for a safety briefing.

Please check your yard, property, and out buildings for any signs of Isaiah.

He was last seen last seen on Monday, October 2 around 3:20 p.m.

Isaish is described as:

First Nations male
21 years old
6 ft 2 inches (187 cm)
Brown eyes
Short dark brown hair
Prominent cheek bones

He was last seen wearing:

Green beanie
Dark clothing
Black pants
No shoes

As the search for Isaiah continues, a sacred fire will be lit at Nàkwät’à Kų̀ Potlatch House.

Support is available. Counsellors are on site. There are food and refreshments.

With efforts ongoing, we ask the community to be mindful of search parties as they go door to door and check yards.
