New homes in McIntyre
22 housing units will be built in McIntyre this construction season. Work will start between late April and early May. Tree clearing has started and is set to be complete by May 1. Homes being built include:
- 6 duplex units on Murphy Road
- 4 single detached houses on Macauley Road
- 3 four-unit row houses for Elders on McClimon Crescent (total of 12 units)
Construction is expected to be complete by May of next year.
Macauley Road upgrades
Macauley Road will be paved with curbs, sidewalks, and street lights added. Utilities like hydro and telephone will be upgraded as residential lots are serviced. If there are any service interruptions, affected residents will be notified. Construction will start in May. This may impact traffic but drivable access to homes will be maintained.
McClimon Crescent upgrades
McClimon Crescent will be paved with curbs and sidewalks added. Lots for new Elders houses will be serviced. Access to the homes on McClimon Crescent will be maintained. Work is expected to take place from June through September.
